3M Filter 2128 Particulate GP2
The 3M Filter 2128 Particulate GP2 provides protection against Particulates (P2), Ozone and Nuisance Level* Acid Gas and Organic Vapours with Low Vapour Pressure.
The 3M 2128 GP2 respirator filters are excellent for use when in contact with particles generated by welding, fabricating or grinding.
* Nuisance Levels are those levels below the Workplace Exposure Standard (WES)
The 3M Filter 2128 Particulate GP2, when used for protection against the contaminants as specified, is capable of providing the following protection levels:
– With a 3M 6000/7500 Series Half Face Respirator: for particles, for airborne concentrations up to 10 times the Workplace Exposure Standard (WES)
– With a 3M 6000/7800 Series Full Face Respirator: for particles, for airborne concentrations up to 50 x WES
– Organic compounds with low vapour pressures (<1.3Pa @ 25 degrees Celsius) in concentrations up to 10 x WES - Ozone up to 10 x WES - Offers relief from acid gases and organic vapours at levels below the WES - Made from 3M high performance filter media for effective filtration efficiency - Lightweight and provides low breathing resistance - 3M Filter 2128 Particulate GP2 Common Applications/Hazards:Suggested Applications: Common Applications/Hazards: For protection against welding fume, ozone, polishing and grinding particles. Also for spraying pesticides or herbicides with vapour pressure <1.3 Pa @ 25°CThe lightweight 2128 filters attach easily to the 3M 6000/7500 series half face mask and 3M 6000/7000 series full face respirators by connecting to the bayonet connection system for precise and secure locking.Electrostatically charged fibres in each filter ensure that dangerous particles are trapped inside the filter, preventing them from reaching your lungs.
